Hi- I have been sending my Geico Insurance payment through the Bill Pay sytem for the past two months (and I just love it).
Today Geico sent me a letter saying that I can no longer pay via Credit or Debit Card.
The question is... If I use the Bill Pay feature this month will it be considered a Card payment or just an online payment?
BillPay is not my strongest point (never had any training on it, outside of knowing it was available).
However, I did check the help section and came across the information below about changing your funding options with BillPay...
How do I choose the funding source for my BillPay payment?
You can change the funding source for your BillPay payment on the Payment Confirmation Page. Show me
Here's How:
Login to your PayPal account
Click on the Send Money tab
Click on the Try BillPay link.
Choose the biller whom you would like to pay from the drop-down menu
Enter the amount of your payment
Click the Funding Options link under the 'Source of Funds' heading
Select the radio button next to the funding source you would like to use
Click Continue
Confirm your payment details
Click Pay Bill
You have successfully sent your BillPay payment
I am glad that you like the BillPay service so much.

For a simple test try this. Send $1.00 to any one of your BillPay accounts. When you get to the part where you have the 'send money button' you have a link called 'funding options' click on that. You'll see that you have no option of using your credit card, funds come from either your PayPal balance or bank account.
I don't believe GEICO's change would affect BillPay services.
