I was involved in a transaction as a buyer last year October. The seller didn't send me the merchandise and I disputed the charge. After I disputed the charge the seller refunded me and I call my credit card company to cancel the dispute. Due to some reason the credit card company still processing the dispute and Paypal restricted my account. After I explained to them that I already cancelled the dispute and paid my credit card company they unrestricted my account and took the money from my Paypal account. Meanwhile they also took the same amopunt of money from my credit card company. They told me they will reimburse me once they have the fund from the credit card company. I checked with my credit card company and they informed me they already paid Paypal March 19th. I have been calling Paypal every day to ask for the money to put back into my account and I received the same answer that somebody will call me within 24-48 hours which nobody never called. It looks like that Paypal itself is commiting a fraud, take the money and don't want to pay you. I have all the evidence that they received the money from the credit card company and my Paypal account. Is there anybody out there can tell me where I can contact a lawyer to file a lawsuit against Paypal ? This is a sure winning case. Any information will be very much appreciated.
My email address is "[email protected]"

Hearing stories like this really makes me wonder about Paypal's ethics. I had a slightly similar situation where I filed a complaint for non-delivery with Paypal. The seller contacted me, and was willing to give me a full refund. The seller gets back to me and informs me that we was instructed by Paypal NOT to refund my money. To make a long story short, I stopped payment on the amount. Immediately Paypal has put my account on restriction for doing it. They don't seem to like people exercising their rights!

Kam1668, call your credit card company and refile the dispute. Maybe then you will get your money back. It seems PayPal only listens when someone (e.g. a credit card company) forces them to.

I did called the credit card company and explained my situation and asked whether I can refile a dispute in order for them to credit my account but they said that a dispute cannot file TWICE and I have to get the money back from Paypal. I have the person's name of the credit card company who was responsible for transferring this amount to Paypal and the date. However Paypal just ignored my messege or my call. They just don't want to pay anything to anybody. This is how I considered that Paypal is committing a fraud himself. I need a lawyer to file this lawsuit in order to get my money and interest. All the proofs are here but they just don't litsen. What can I do ?
The notes advise that no credit has been issued by the issuing bank for the chargeback. The notes also indicate that we are checking daily to see if the card company credited the amount. We can't take any action unless there is confirmation that this has happened.
Have you had the card company contact our chargeback team?

Paypaldamon, nice to see that you look at this board. The credit card company called me and told me that the money already transferred to Paypal and left me the name of the person and the phone number who did the transaction in case that Paypal needs to verify. I have no way to contact the charge back department and talk to somebody about this. It looks like that the department is hidden somewhere in the jungle that nobody can contact them except if they want to talk to you. I did sent emails to Paypal but what I got is the same answer that they will into it and no more. I know that the money is there may they have so many transactions every day that they cannot find this one or they don't want to find it. I NEED A LAWYER !!
