Several weeks ago I posted that PayPal restricted my account because my ex-husband owed Paypal some money.
After a few weeks I finally agreed to allow them to deduct the funds from my account so that I could get the account unrestricted.
I faxed them every document they asked for and even send them additional documents.
Now I am being ignored. Damon does not even answer my emails anymore. I have alays been calm and rational in my dealings with PayPal on this matter but this is getting to the point where serious actions need to be taken in order to get Paypals attention.
So here is my plan. If PayPal does not release the funds by the end of the week then I promise that there will be a FLOOD of attention brought to the deeds of PayPal.
Don't believe me? Ok, let's see what transpires.

Hi,
I have been out of the office for the past week, so I would not have responded to any emails over the past week.
Your case was directed to the account management team. I do believe that they were waiting for some additional documentation from you (which I did forward to them).

JJD333: I had a similar problem. Someone told me to complain to Travelers to get PayPal to respond. I did and PayPal finally started to help me.

It's really sad that people have to go over PayPal's head to get anything done. What happened to good ole American customer service? I guess corporate tyrants like PayPal have ended that. They're so busy looking at the bottom line that they don't care how many people they screw over to show a profit.

Hi JJD333,
I was advised that the issue here was resolved. Please let me know if that is not the case.
Hi dealerjim,
No, I type everything that I respond with (unless it is a direct quote from the USER AGREEMENT, or instructions off of the web site0.
I could respond to your posts with a cut-and-paste.
"Dealerjim was defrauded by a seller. PayPal, which is a payment service, does not guarantee that a party receiving a payment will come through with a product/service that you have purchased.
However, PayPal does have a Buyer Complaint Process available to users . The process, which has terms readily available on the PayPal web site, does not guarantee we will be able to recover. PayPal did research dealerjim's complaint, yet we were unable to recover on his behalf.
The strongest way to prevent an issue with a seller, and to avoid being defrauded, is to use discretion when sending payment to anyone through any medium."

You neglected to mention about how your company harbored the thief that used PayPal as tool for theft. Your loopholes allow fraudulent people to steal from your honest customers and PayPal obviously doesn't care. Keep up the good work Demon. I hope they pay you well.

Hi dealerjim,
I advised you how to get information on the party that apparently defrauded you. If you had sent a money order, would the money order company be harboring a thief if they didn't release proprietary information?
No, as many companies have POLICIES and PROCEDURES to deal with customer issues. I advised you what you needed to do. Your issue is truly with the INDIVIDUAL person you dealt with.

Seems like the TOM-TOM brothers agree with damon that all you need is common sence and a crystal ball to prevebt fraud. The fact still remains is that payponzi protects the thief. Birds of a feather I guess flock together.
