Hello. Back on Jan 16th, I had paid a seller for a ebay auction item. Total amount was for $64.10. Now supposedly the item was sent according to him and I did pay the insurance. But as of today, 4/9 I have not heard from him or the post office. He has all the insurance numbers and all. When I ask for info, he does not email me back. I dealt with this person before (one deal) and it went fine but now I cannot contact him about this. I tried to recover my money with Paypal but they said it went past 30 days. Is there any way I can recover the funds I sent to him on 1/16? Please let me know. My email address is [email protected].

you should still be able to do a chargeback thats the best route whatever happens you will get your cash back. BUT MAKE SURE YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT IS EMPTY AS THEY WILL FREEZE IT IF PAYPAL HAVE TO EAT THE CHARGE.

You're probably SOL.
Contact your CC and ask if you still have the option of disputing the payment- but you've probably waited far too long. Most CC companies set a 60-day limit on such complaints.
AFAIK, E-bay won't accept a complaint after this long, either.
