Sadly, my good "friend" who I loved to watch, Barney Fife, died. He made me laugh and laugh and I'll never forget him.

When I saw the "Goodbye Guys" I thought you might have been called up for a tour of duty in sunny Iraq or chilly Afghanistan. A couple of locals from around here are also there doing reconstruction work, intel gathering and poppy eradication. Then when the demob they parachute into huge salaries as security consultants/specialists.

Barney Fife with his one bullet in his shirt pocket.....kinda makes me think of Classic whenever I think about that.
You know, one bullet and fumbling to get it out of his pocket like a one-liner.

I am sorry he has left us. I think he was a finer comedic actor than he ever really received credit for. But man, when I heard this all I could think was I did it again!! Sold too early...damn psychic in me! I had some Mayberry paraphenlia that I just sold a few months back. Would have been so much more sale'able now I'm sure..drats and double drats....
Did you know there is a whole web site devoted to Andy Griffith and Mayberry stuff? Members club and everything....They call it TAGS.
