The one thing I loved about vendio is closed listings were easy to relist. Why in the hell they would F*** it up and make it hard?
I relist individual items, even if someone has bought 4 different ones in a combined listing. I need those to be broken up for relisting, but now they are forcing you to click the "multiple purchase", and figure out if a relisting is in one of them. Further, they treat the order like it is one item, not four.
I am about ready to kiss vendio goodby after ebay now accepts pictures. I don't need stupid people screwing up one of the best things going for vendio.
Am I alone with this? Does anyone see how a simple operation has become complex with little additional value? I might as well try to change ebay.
There was a change made last year when we were forced to start pointing all checkout through eBay unfortunately. When orders are combined in eBay and we receive confirmation of this, they show as a combined order in your Vendio closed section.
The steps previously used to relist an item in an order:
1. Go to closed section and place check mark beside the item you want to relist
2. Click relist button
3. Launch now, or schedule your item to list (you could edit at this point, but it wasn't required so I won't add it as a step.)
The process now to relist an item in an order:
1. Go to the closed section and place a check mark next to the order in which the item you want to relist has been combined into
2. Click the relist button
3. Before you launch now or schedule, uncheck the box/s next to the items in the order you don't want to relist currently
4. Launch now, or schedule your item to list (you could edit at this point, but it wasn't required so I won't add it as a step.)
If your primary problem stems from not knowing what items are in the order, because you were always relisting from the Closed section - note that the 'Post Sale' pages show all of the items in the order right away without having to click on *anything* to see them.
You would just put a check mark next to the order, click relist, and relist or launch now as you always have. Again the only additional step is unchecking the item/s from that order that you didn't want to relist off of.
Thank you for taking the time to contact us with your feedback, as well as your patience while we work to help you find a solution to your problems.
Thanks for the response. I was really pissed that such a simple, great function was screwed up. I did not know it was on the Ebay end. So I stand corrected.
The search function gets messed up with this too. The post sale DOES have a relist section, and you just uncheck the part of the order you don't want to relist. So that solves part of my problem. Can you guys find a way to break the closed section like you do in the post sale columns?
I sell mostly "one of a kind" items out of my huge personal collection of individual things for sale. You can imagine how this really hurts when for once I have two of something, and cannot relist again easily if it was part of a multi sale?
