I guess it's going to include all our shipping as well.
I still can't decide whether to go with free shipping this year on one, all or none of my ID's.
If I go with free shipping, I'm thinking of doing a monthly print out of my shipping labels from ebay but that doesn't include UPS.
Has anyone checked into Intuit QuickBooks Connect for eBay yet?
It's all getting just a bit to complicated these days.

Paypal should offer us an option not to view all these shipping label charges when we view our account.
Ebay also should stop sending all these emails like thank for buying, thanks for paying and your order is ready to ship, bla bla,bla

Paypal allows you to view your annual statement that shows all of your sales, refunds, etc.

It amazes me how many people I hear that do not report their eBay income... aka tax evasion which IMHO is anti-American. It really ticks me off.

I should add... I would expect Paypal will send a 1099, not a W-2. 1099s are supposed to be sent when you do more than $500 in business (non-merchandise sales) services.

Paypal is just a payment service,it is not going to poke its nose into finding where all your payments come from,it is Ebay which may soon to be asked to provide ,I think it does that on Half.com.
As for Ebay sellers reporting their Ebay income,it starts out as ridding your attic, closet personal items which you bought eons again and IRS figures you are losing money selling them as used items,so no need to report income,of course we know this aint true.
However I have heard cases where antique dealers who have brick and mortar stores who also sell on Ebay get audited and IRS has asked Ebay to furnish his sales records.

Yes, I have heard this too about B&M dealers. With regards to your personal items for sale, you are right... but there is most certainly a point where it becomes obvious what is going on. I see a dealer who lists furniture on Craigslist all the time. He lists it as "owner" not "dealer". I guarantee he is not paying taxes on his income, but at the same time if you were to ask him for a business card to call him about other furniture he would have one.

Some cities require folks who host garage sales to get a city license as they keep hosting garage sale every weekend.
They just go to wholesale district and bring back all the junks .

Per Paypal:

Log in to your PayPal account.
Click History.
Select Tax Documents from the drop-down.

If a Form 1099-K was issued for your account, it will be listed here and available to download or print. If a Form 1099-K is not listed, and you still feel like you should have one, contact PayPal for assistance
