I don't know what the low was, but at 9:00 this morning it was 8 here in southeast Indiana. Good day to stay in and work on Ebay! Hey, maybe this topic isn't so off topic afterall.

Darn - keeps getting warmer! LOL It was -15 when I posted this am. DH went out to fill bird feeders and proclaimed it to be "Damn Cold" without gloves or hat on.

The sky is blue without a cloud - sun is bright and snow is crisp and crunchy.

I WANT to stay in and work - DH wants to go to Science Museum - dang! If you could beam me over I'd go in a heartbeat. I just hate waiting for the car to warm up with my shoulders hunched up my ears and then walking from a parking spot to the museum penguin-style cause we're so bundled up and braced against the cold. Then we have to deal with mittens, hat, scarf, coat while going through exhibits, pile it all back on to go home and do the shouder scrunch again while the car warms up! WAHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I have 5 feeders & 2 heated bird baths to refill & nearly froze doing it.
Came in & checked the temp, but it was a balmy 28 above 0
And I thought that was cold!

We had negative temperatures last week. This week it's back up to mid/high 20's. It almost feels balmy after the negative temperatures.

We do the penguin walk here too. Baby steps. Anything bigger and you might fall on you a@@. All the sidewalks and parking lots are just one big sheet of ice all winter.

Oh...and the living room roof is leaking this morning. We put out little cups along the floor where the drips are coming in.

I am so ready to move to a warmer state. We are giving Dallas/Ft Worth some serious consideration.

19 degrees this morning, and 63 this afternoon. Nothing like a 40 plus degree temperature spread to make the animals sick. It was pleasant enough to go out for a long ride this afternoon though, so we take the good with the bad.

A balmy 4 degrees here in sw ohio-I'm certainly looking forward to spring and summer. Of course then I;ll complain because it's too hot.

It's been much colder here, relatively speaking, in So. Calif. mountains. Daily highs around 30. It just started snowing - again - and of course we need the moisture desperately. Good day to hunker down and enjoy the indoors.

Watching Green Bay's game yesterday (sob), I had trouble feeling warm in my living room. I don't understand how some of those players could play without sleeves.

Neg,well your cold is blowing right over the lakes picking up some good ole Alberta Clipper chill and landing on us! I do a short paper route on Sunday nights 2am to 4:30am ... it was -23 not counting the wind chill. The gusts were between 10 and 35mph at that time. It was blistering cold on the face. I had 4 layers on including a scarf over my mouth and nose. I do this route to help my brother.. it shortens his long day, collections, by 2 hours.. if it weren't for Mike I would be snug as a bug in the down bed!
By the way where did you get that cool download of your town and temp?

When did it get above zero in your neighborhood? It stayed below zero until today (monday) here and I am only 25 miles from you.

It didn't get above zero until today here either but the whacky thinga-ma-bob showed 19 degrees sometimes. Shows the reporting spot as Maple Grove hospital and we don't even have a hospital yet. LOL

Bonnie - Here is where I got the banner - I don't know your zip code so you'll have to figure out how to customize for your location. They have about 25 to choose from:

It's warmed up to -9 now (9am) - It was -16 when I woke up. Our Toyota 4runner's battery is dead - SOMEONE (husband said it was me and I say vice versa) forgot to turn off the headlights - it seems that if you leave lights on "automatic" setting the battery drains!

I got it - finally.

[*img]http://weathersticker.wunderground.com/weathersticker/gizmotimetempbig_both/US/FL/Panama_City_Beach.gif[*/img]

PS if you're using Firefox and Adblock you won't see it.

I finally figured it out by right clicking on the sticker and copy & paste Image PROPERTIES on the pop up....not the Link Properties.

OR the second line of the COPY THESE LINES OF HTML

<img src="http://banners.wunderground.com/weathersticker/gizmotimetempbig_metric/language/www/US/FL/Panama_City_Beach.gif" border=0

You would copy and paste the parts between the ""'s and leave everything else out.
