Has anyone with a Featured Store noticed that the minimal ebay header has been enlarged.

The size of the ebay logo has been increased and the links for Buy, Sell, My Ebay, etc. remain in place on the right side and are not reduced.

Was there a notice regarding this change? I sure wish someone would communicate changes to us, so we would not be surprised.

The key to the minimal ebay header was that we could build our own brand without emphasizing the ebay brand. Someone in marketing must have felt differently.

I am very disappointed.

I don't have a featured store, but from what I had read about headers, I thought the ability to minimize was one of the perks of paying for Featured. If I were you I would definetly start writing letters. Start with Meg. She actually has her own personal team of minions. One of them might even call you for your input. But for what it is worth, when they have called me in the past was not impressed.

The minimal ebay header remains the same for stores on the Australia, U.K., and Canada sites. Apparently the increase in the header size is only on the .com site.

I noticed it too. My store isn't that fancy and I guess I am not worried about it clashing with my design or making it look more like a Web Store and I don't think it conflicts with my "own brand" - as long as they keep the "Search" function off the page I am ok with it. I can understand why it wouldn't be ok with some people though.

Koz- this is just a minor disappointment in the many ebay has thrown at us lately. I save my wrath for the "big ones".
