I've had those. They went through my checking account ok. I think they are processed by a BillPay program directly from the buyer's checking account.

HUmmm never thought of paying with the bill pay at my bank thing is it takes them a few days to issue the check and I would not want anyone waiting that long to get payment.
Seems like if a check says bill pay or processing center (If they put that on there)you could go ahead and ship since they take funds out of the account right then when they process it. Would be nice to know so you would not have to hold for what ever length you deem necessary for checks.

Well, yes and no. USED to be that they did put a hold on funds when a check was ordered/issued through the bill pay program. You could not make a payment unless the funds were in your account on whatever date you specified or right now.
A few months ago, that changed. Unless it's a business payee with an account number where funds clear on a certain date whether the recipient has cashed it or not, bill pays now behave like a personal check and clear the same way. Personally dislike it intensely since I now have to balance both my hand written checks and my echecks.
As far as what you have, seems that calling Wachovia (1-800-wachovia) would be the definitive answer, no?

No Way Irked! Computer checks are too easy to fake and Wachovia is one of the more popular names dropped in phish scams on the net.
The first time I received one of the Wachovia counter checks, I almost returned it to the buyer. I checked her feedback and it was good or else I would have returned it.
