scan the image in 72 dpi and put your name across the image in place where it would be hard to remove it and reduce size of image too..

I used to try to comply but the people who put me through hoops almost NEVER buy, and the more I handle my cards the more they're prone to damage or misfiling. I don't mind folks who download my images for their own enjoyment, as long as they don't put me to extra work or profit from it. Now I totally ignore the requests for special scans

I had a similar request. I was listing a knitting pattern, and had taken 2 views and spliced them, and part of the instructions were showing. I had someone ask me to send a scan with all the instructions showing because they couldn't read them all. Some chance!!

I've had worse. I once had a cd lot up, 50 cd's for 99 cents. Shipping was $15 I believe - A little on the high side since these could go media mail for less, but I figured in case the lot did go for 99 cents, it would provide some protection against a loss. Well, this guy won the lot, and then wrote to tell me that I could ship the lot for about $6 via media mail, so would it be ok if he paid $7 for the lot. I told him that I would put the lot in a dumpster before I did that, and that since he was paying 2 cents a cd (which was fair, he won the lot at that level) he had a lot of nerve to ask me to ship at cost, thus absorbing a loss with ebay fees, paypal fees, etc. He paid, and said couldn't hurt to ask. I guess not, since I was a couple of thousand miles away!
People who ask me to scan photos of really cheap items get a polite no, I can not do that. If they write back all annoyed and angry, I simply ignore them and block them.
