This really works. I got into a nest of wasps this afternoon and got stung twice. Just happened to brush by a nest of Guinea wasps and they came after me. I had the "AfterBite" pencil and dabbed it on the bites. Usually the whole area swells up and it lasts for a week or so. This time no problem.
here it is

Guinea wasps ? Red Ants?? Oh I am so glad I live where I do. We only have wasps and regular Ole bees. Ants? No red ones here. Only black ones and they don't bite much (grin)

ya gotta be careful with bee stings, especially if you are allergic.I went water skiing way back in Aug of 1971 at a resort in Lake George,N.Y.I started to fall and my finger got entangled in the rope and when I let go of the rope I heard this loud snap.I ended up breaking my finger right underneath the nail and the finger was 3 times the the normal size. They took me down to the Glens Falls emergency room where I waited a good 40 minutes before a doctor saw me.The doctor apoloigized but he was taking care of a girl that had a "bee sting reaction" He explained to me that people can die from bee stings. This is well known now,but back 35 years ago I never heard of it.

We've been using Afterbite for years up here in MN - works great on mosquito bites. I think it's pure ammonia (smells like it).

classicrock - what resort did you stay at? At one time, before I moved to CA, I lived year round in Lake George Village. What a great place to live.

Love the stuff, last week I mowed over a nest of ground bees, boy were they mad and stung me for it. The poor mower went flying down the hill and I went flying across the bridge into the house for the afterbite. If they had followed me I would have jumped into the pond (just in case you are being stung by a lot of bees or whatever, if you happen to be near water that can cover your body, jump in and they will be washed off and confused and not find you again).
