I just wanted to warn anyone AWAY from ordering "memory foam" from Overstock. It's NOT memory foam. I have a warranty issue since I ordered mine from them a year ago and they passed the buck onto the company that they bought it from and considered the complaint/case "closed".
I posted (or thought I did) a review on the same mattress pad I bought and said Folks it's not memory foam etc etc and guess what - the review was never posted!
I noticed that now they have no warranty on their mattresses whereas when I bought that was one of the things I was concerned about. I couldn't even pull up what I had ordered from them on their website.
There's a long long thread on FatWallet forums I wish I'd read before I bought mine. Basically - the 4" memory foam that O ships weighs well under what real memory foam is supposed to weigh.

It just kind of po's me off that O only shows the "glowing" feedback and not the negative. For all we b*tch about Ebay's feedback at least they show you the good, the bad and the ugly (for the most part).

WELL - the [email protected] email WORKS!
(Just in case you ever need it.)
They resolved it within 1 day. (after more than a week of run around)
"Dear Customer,
First of all we apologize for not getting back to you sooner. We checked our records and it seems that your warranty is still active. We are going to ship a new pad today via FedEx.

ps - the last memory foam mattress pad I received was NOT memory foam. True - it had some "memory" in it - but it was not the real deal.
I'll sell the new one on Ebay because I already went out and bought one to replace the other one......
I think I started about page 34 (google brought it up regarding Overstock+memory+foam or something like that) There were a lot of unhappy Overstock customers.
I had no idea there were a lot of memory foam wannabees...........

Actual received weight is 42 pounds according to my UPS scale. Not 5 pound memory foam. More like 2 or 2.5 pound memory foam - which is more FOAM than MEMORY.
PLUS Overstock edits their reviews. I think this is what upsets me the most! I posted 2 negative reviews and neither were posted on their website. Evidently they don't want anyone telling the truth.

That just does not seem right, if we could edit our feedback everyone would have 100%, lol or 110%
I saw their 1dollar commercial last night and thought they must be getting desperate for business to ship all orders even a truckload for just 1 measly dollar.

well the GOOD NEWS is that if you put Overstock Memory Foam in Google that this thread comes up in the first page. So I hope that this keeps somebody else from making the same mistake I did.
O has always shipped everything either for free or $1.00 MOL. They hope to be in serious competition with Amazon. However this review thing has thrown me for a loop. Does Amazon also edit their reviews? Kinda makes you wonder doesn't it?
