anybody else get the mailer for vistaprint free buisness cards, free postcards, free rubber stamp, free brochures, free business card magnets, free note pad?

it's not so clear on the website as it is on the postcard they sent out. The brochure (somebody was asking about this not too long ago) looks like the best deal regular 39.99 is free.

I ordered it all yesterday (saw the thread on the powersellers board) and even with the shipping it is alot of stuff for about $13. And, it gave me an opportunity to play around with some color schemes and templates.

Also, if you need a rubber stamp, you can type anything in the stamp area, it does not have to be your address. We opened a new business account and I used this one for the new account number.

glassgrl- It looks like you need to edit the link you provided. It starts with a vendio address. Currently it links to http://www.vendio.com/mesg/www.VistaPrint.com/greatoffer . You just need to edit out the vendio part.

VistaPrint will market you to death once they get your email address. I don't mind that so much, but some of it is deceptive, like claiming they're trying to recruit to you join a product testing panel, or the one they're always sending me: "VistaPrint needs your feedback!"

I doubt I'll use them again. And yes, they are selling your information.

that's weird fluff - I ordered personal cards from them a couple of years ago and this is the first I've heard from them.

I order on a regular basis -- just the free cards. For $5 total cost I can't buy stock or ink to print 250 of my own. I use them at shows as receipts, since they have my space number and cell phone just in case customers are half way to Texas by the time they remember they left something in my booth.

As cheap as they are, I get new ones when I change shows or spots. I use a disposable yahoo email for VP and on occasion may get something, but it's rare.

I received 15 unasked-for emails from them in August 2006 alone. (I just went back and checked.)

Some of them were VistaPrint pretending to be someone else, presumably to make it through a spam filter.

The sum total of the business I've done with VistaPrint is one order of business cards.

Edited to add:

I have to admit the cards were a good idea, though. I leave them at garage sales if someone says they might want to sell me something someday, and last week I got a call. Went to her sale on Saturday and spent $525.

One of the great things about gmail is the ability to create buying accounts. I have one that I use just for situations like this. Then if they do start to spam me, I just let gmail know and they never show up again. However, I have not had that problem with Vista.

I do have a problem with an email account that is ONLY used to buy on eBay and pay with paypal. That email account is used no where else. It gets a tremendous amount of spam. Which is wierd because the name of the mail account is just a collection of letters and numbers without meaning.
