I want to change my long term ebay name to a more fitting description of what I do. However, as usual, vendio's user vicious design makes it very hard to figure out.
I can easily change my ebay user name, but how do I then co ordinate it with vendio to also change my ebay name.

upper right corner click My Account then choose Auction Site Accounts then Edit your Ebay account name it will then verify or something like that to then work with Vendio..

Just like irked said. What this does is make ebay issue a new "token" to vendio to allow them to acess your account so you can launch and manage your listing's from here.
This is the token that expires every year (I think it's every year) and you have to renew it. Vendio let's you know when it's time to renew them so they don't expire.

Then what you are saying is I must first change the ebay name, then come to vendio and revise my name here.
Boy, I have a lump in my stomach to do this. Ebay I trust, vendio I don't.

Yes you have to change your ebay user ID first on ebay. How could you change the ebay user ID on vendio first to a user ID that you had not created yet in ebay? That would be backwards.
You don't trust Vendio, why? I personally trust vendio one heck of alot more than I do ebay. When it comes to trust, ebay's on the very bottom of my list. Vendio however is close to the top of my list.

Yes Vendio I trust and ebay not so much. It is easy to do just change your name at ebay come here and edit your ebay id the token is renewed you get emails confirming everything. Hardest part is getting name at ebay that is not taken. LOL That is how I originally got the name irked which I had at ebay in past cause I got irked trying to get a name. So when I signed up a week later or what ever it was with Vendio I used same name which I now know not to usually do. I have changed my name at ebay 2 times since then so now they don't match. I have wanted to change my user name here at Vendio but don't want to pay to just get a different name so stuck with irked for now. But that isn't so bad here no one usually aske me why I am irked. They sure did at ebay LOL About 50% of my buyers wanted to know why I was irked at ebay.

thanks people, I have been successful at changing my ebay name and vendio too.
It was easy with the right directions. I have to figure out now how to change the extra lines I have at the bottom of my add description. I know it is somewhere bizarre to do this, and I had a hell of a time finding it last time.

If you mean the text directly under your descriptions for listing's made with vendio you need to go to your account and "Custom Listing Text". This should have all the sections of custom listing text in the vendio area of the listing like shipping, return policy, payment and so on.

woops, spoke too soon. The piece of #*!@ vendio user vicious software does not allow me to edit out the changes to that section. I changed it, but it does not change it in current auctions, nor does vendio give me an avenue to change it when I am editing my new auction copies. So how do I fix it in my copy auctions without going to ebay. If I have to go to ebay, I guess I don't need this user vicious software here.

Actually Vendio has the most user friendly programs I have ever found for doing ebay listing's, JMHO. I tried alot of others and found vendio to be the easiest and fastest to use. You couldn't pry vendio from my cold dead hands.
What is your current problem? What are you trying to change? Custom listing text in your template, shipping info, etc. Need a little clarification to help you on this one.
The reason your current live auctions have not changed is because when you originally launched them vendio sent ebay the HTML code for how your listing looked with all of the text and photo's. Once it is a live auction it's there until you edit each auction individually. It's not vendio's fault. Making a change here does not change the code you submited earlier to ebay which is now stored on ebay's server.
The changes you made will take to all new listing's you make.
When refering to "copy auctions" do you mean you have a saved copy of items in your pending listing's?
We need details, details, details. Just let us know what's wrong and we will be glad to help you straighten out the problems.
