I just started one on one of my unused ID's.
My main ID has something of a "corporate" sound to it, with everything in the plural "We strive to support our customers..." and so forth. It's all very professional and antiseptic, giving the impression that you should "Buy from us because we're established and reliable."
Now...
I'm going to try using the combination of the blog and second ID to try to sell the stuff using a more personal-sounding tone "I just love this game because I can't win at it!" I can put stories about my games in the blog, and point to where people can actually buy them. There is a much more personal touch doing it like this.
Which will work better? Time will tell.
