Hi, experts. I've seen this glass pattern all my life, seems like, but now that I need to know more about it, I'm a blank. An elderly friend has a whole set, three different sizes, 6 or 8 in a group, for me to sell for her. Any thoughts? I'd think 60s-70s for sure, but whatchoo think?

Even though I'm not usually a glassie, pattern is generally called "King's Crown." I'm cleaning in the garage, and found a whole set of these in the same green left over from several stints at shows and flea markets where I simply positively could not sell them for even $1 for the lot. I just tossed them into the cracked and chipped glass pile for the mosaic lady. You may have better luck! You time frame is right.

Thanks, Birgit! I had the impression too that they weren't worth much. Hate to disappoint my old friend. I'll look around on eBay and see if they're doing anything. ~Adele

Yes, I noticed in poking around on the internet that the green and clear thumbprint glasses were nearly worthless, while the other colors brought something better.
