I purchased a lovely tea set and cannot find the manufacturer's mark to identify it properly. I bought it in Newburyport, Massachusetts (the home of Towle Silver Co.), but I cannot match it up with any of their marks. The mark has three separate castle type buildings and with Old English letters that look like F(or maybe a G?) P then the 3 castles in the middle and AS - I think. Sorry my photo of the mark is a bit blurry, but I couldn't seem to get a good close-up. Any suggestions?

In other words, silverplated. Manufacturer is kind of irrelevant here since the value is low. Silverplated tea sets generally sell based on the design.

I try to learn at least one thing a day. With Fluff back, that should turn out to be easier to do. I thought EPNS was a company, and one that didn't do well on eBay
I agree about the design aspect of plate. I generally don't take plate on consignment as it's a lot of work for very little return, but if a tea set is VERY nice, I find that I can make a few bucks.
