And it was a pretty good one. $100 - and it was from an auction that did not sell after 3 or 4 listings - I upped the price and GOT IT.
It's been about 3 weeks since I opened my ebay store. I'm still working on my store so this is good - I think.

Congrats! It's amazing isn't it? I mean, you put something at auction and no one bids. You up the price, put it in your store and wham, it's gone! I've had that happen quite a few times.

Congratulations. That's great...Are you listing through Vendio? How many items are you putting in? Now Lady, did that item you sold appear in the searches.

Wonderful!
I'll always remember what the president of the first company I worked for taught me: 1. Selling isn't hard, finding the right product to sell is hard and 2. Find the right price to sell at. When he bought a large inventory, he always 'played' with the price before he spent a lot on advertising. An item might not sell at $125 so he would jack the price up to $279 and it would sell like hotcakes. People are funny...
It looks like you found the right price - congratulations!

Thanks everybody!!
Libra63
I have about 30 items in there now - a few higher priced items - mostly not.
I'm sorry to say I didn't even do a search on the item - guess I could try a past search??
I listed it as an auction with Vendio but put it in the store w/o Vendio. Hope I don't get too confused at tax time and miss paying taxes on this item. Heaven knows I wouldn't want that!!!

Congratulations...
But 3 weeks for only 1 sale? After the monthly fee and the final value fee, it doesn't seem you did too great.
Stores seem best for 3,000 items, not 30 items.

It's a free month for me as it's my first and I took a 8 day vacation during this time too. I know 30 items isn't that many and I plan to get more listing added.
But 3000 items - I'll never make that!!! All my listings are different - I do Antiques and Collectibles only.
