I'm curious what other people offer as marketing strategies to entice their customers to purchase from either their auctions or their store.

For example: free shipping, two for one, lower shipping rates, next purchase discounted.

Do you offer specials if they buy from your store versus an auction?

Do you have lower pricing for the same item in either your store versus your auctions.

I'm looking for some ideas?
Thanks

I ship the second item for no additional charge. Three or more items and the shipping is free. I sell postcards which are relatively cheap to ship. I also have links in my listings that will take them to similar items in my store.

I offer 50% off shipping on all items after the initial purchase. If someone purchases a number of items and their shipping is higher than I am comfortable with, I will scale it down some or if already paid, I will add an extra item to their order that is in the same vein as other items they have purchased.
