Filed a complaint almost 7 weeks ago, and the case is still in review. Will I ever get a refund, or am I screwed once again by unscrupulous ebay sellers?

My buyer used the *Not as described* claim she filed Jan 14th. it's been sitting in reveiw since then it just got cleared on Friday. It does seem to take awhile.
Buyers claim to paypal "Seller (me) sent size 9 shoe and not a 6 but daughter was unable to squeeze into the shoe and she wears an 8. ???? Please refund my money or send a 6.
I thank god I sent to confirmed address had the del conf # and all that jazz. Not that they ever asked for it.
I did win after how many weeks? Paypal said "Buyers claim denied" that was it.
Paypal does state that your claim will be looked at in the order it was received. ARE they getting that bombed with these requests that it takes 7-8 weeks for an answer?

It took me weeks to get over $300 back from them. What ticked me off was that took the money from my account after they said I was correct. The bidder told Pay Pal I never shipped the item. I gave them Pay Pal my tracking information and proof of delivery (signature). Someone ignored or didn't look at my proof.
They notified the buyer he needed to pay for the items and of course he refused.
I told Pay Pal it was their screw up and they needed to pay me.
So after many phone calls, they finally paid me. They said they were going after the buyer.
I am curious to how they "go after a buyer".

I'm seriously considering dumping PayPal and credit cards altogether. I sold something about a month ago and got an email the other day stating that what I sold wasn't real. Well, I know for a fact that it was. The buyer only wanted a partial refund. This after the buyer left glowing feedback. So, rather than risk him going to PayPal or his credit card company and having all the money taken away, I refunded some of his purchase price. I don't want to have to do that. They buyer's know what they can get away with and run with it. Would they attempt the same thing with Sears, WalMart or any other large online seller? Probably not. However, they know that we have more to lose.

Me-N-Ralphie sell TWO different kinds of items (other than his MONKEY-PORN and HERBAL VIAGRA, that is) -- NEW CONSUMER GOODS and ANTIQUE RADIOS...
For the buyers of the NEW GOODS, the PayPal is mandatory...
BUT, with the ANTIQUE RADIOS, very few pay us with PayPal!
If we sold ONLY the ANTIQUES, we'd DUMP PayPal in a second, as I've become very anxious about their policies over the past 12 months.

I have never had any kind of hold on my account or any charge backs (knock on wood) but I have hold my breath a few times when the items was a high ticket items.
If I have ANY doubt about their FB or lack of it - I request a money order. So far no problem.
