A few days I ago, I posted a message about Ebay over charging me on my monthly statement.
If they send you an email telling you $197. then you pay $197. Instead, they tried to raid my Pay Pal account for over $300 then again for $130. So the new bill is due this month and already they warn me my account is two months over due! I do not understand this at all. I paid last month on time. Now they say I owe almost $400 and now blocked my account.

Why not paper copy your billing information from a couple of months ago until now and add it up and see what the problem is and if you still have problems here is eBays phone number. Good Luck

Since I started on Ebay I had a credit card to take payments out. Never had a problem till the summer when they started billing me different amounts they stated on the invoice. They would raid my account whenever they felt like it.
Finally, I took the advice someone here gave me and started using my Pay Pal balance to pay the bill off weekly. That was working for me . Feb was a bad month for me so I decided to pay the balance off when it was due instead of making my weekly payments.
The bill for the month was $197. Instead of taking $197. they tried to take over $300. I did not have enough funds in my account so they denined payment.
I went to pay $197. Now they are saying I owe for Feb and March. They blocked my account.
Today I paid my March bill (the amount they invoiced me for) not they amount they say is due.
I figured they are taking the monthly fee plus whatever has been charged since the 15th.
I was under the impression you are billed monthly. Am I wrong?

That someone telling you to use PayPal to pay your ebay fees was incredibly bad advise. Switch it back to your credit card where you can have some real control.

Stone, I was having problems when I used the credit card. I was getting billed 2 x a month or they would skip a few months then charge hundereds of dollars at a time.
Paying the bill every week was working for me so I will go back to doing that.
I just want to know if anyone else is having the same problems. In the five plus years I have been with Ebay I didn't have these problems till this past summer.
I do not understand why Ebay can't just bill like every other company.

ebay changed accounting systems last year and it has been a mess ever since. I have the $ taken out of my bank account and it always used to be on the 20th of the month. Now that they have the "improved" system,(perhaps it has increased the VIBRANCY of the marketplace??)I never know WHEN they will be taking the money!
I still have not received my March 1st bill! The Feb bill was taken out at the end of the month (or maybe it was even March) but you can't tell from the ebay site because they show it "paid" long before it actually leaves my bank (creative bookeeping ? - Wall Street take note!) I always have to make certain I have a big chunk o' change in my checking account just in case ebay decides to take my money at an arbitrary or random time.....why can't this be automatic?????? You'd think a company as big as ebay would be able to manage its accounts receivable in a business like manner!!
I think the first group of users had the billing changed in March of last year..you'd think that a YEAR would be enough time to get the system working! If I were sitting in Meg's chair I would fire the dumbazz folks who are responsible for this disaster! Of course if I were in Meg's chair, I wouldn't have to worry about having enough cash in my account in the first place. I guess that is why it isn't fixed.
