Just curious if anyone has tried Ebay's Turbo Lister. It seems to have everything Vendio offers, the difference being, Turbo Lister is free. I'd appreciate any thoughts or people's experience concerning Turbo Lister.
Thanks!

A friend hadn't listed for several years (and you know how the SYI form has changed!) so I taught her TL in five minutes. Haven't used Vendio personally since it was Auction Watch so not sure what Vendio does or does not do these days.

In Turbo Lister I have never had a problem with photos not showing (I store on my ISP web space) nor with uploading, even when it was "free" listing days they ran right through regardless of the time of day. Also, since My eBay now contains a couple of useful features for organizing (great for small sellers, I dumped my other software which was mostly geared for high volume sellers

Cheers.

No, TL does not give you option to supersize photos (unless you use the eBay picture pack in which case you may as well pay Vendio); you have to add your own thumbnails if that's important to you (without a doubt, a google search will give you some kind of free utility to do so)

Cheers.

BRIT, AS A BUYER I LIKE TO SEE THE ENLARGED
photographs. sorry caps one handed typing right now, - but yeah, i also like to let buyers have a good look at item so the can see if small details matter to them that i may not have thought of to mention. but for a freebie tl is a good way to go.

Agreed about the larger pics -- it drives me up a wall to see a poorly cropped, murky single eBay hosted photo on a listing.

Mostly all ISPs provide free web storage for their clients these days. You do, however, have to learn how to do an ftp transfer (if you want to use more than eBay's free first photo), an extra step which not every one wants to bother with, or learn.

Inserting your own photos which you control gives me good sized photos without having to supersize. It does of course make a page slower to load, but the initial eBay hosted photo should give lookers an idea of whether they want to scroll further down or not. I don't think I've ever had a request for additional photos.

Since you can import your current listings from eBay, it should be simple to use one of them as a template and simply make changes in the details and try it.

I never used TL but I used to use Mister Lister and with that you could not view your listing before you sent it - I never liked that.
Here is the very best thing about Vendio's SMPro-the photos can be dragged and dropped as you do your listing. I don't even like to list online with Vendio-but LOVE SMPro because you have to load your photos and then go do the listing.

One of the problems I have with Turbo Lister is when I changed my password on eBay, I couldn't figure out how to change it on Turbo Lister. So I started over....

Over all, I like it. But I'm not exactly what one would call computer literate!
