I haven't had anything on auction in over a month and was just wondering if it's worth my while to start selling again. I'm having a yard sale soon to get rid of a lot of unEbayable "stuff". I have decided that my life is too filled with clutter and I need to get rid of it. Barbara

Right at this time I wouldnt say biding is down or up really I would say its steady for what I sell not doing great but still way better then breaking even on listing fees.

How ever last month when everyone was saying bidding was very slow I was getting many bids every day.

As always, depends what you're selling. My last batch of auctions sold with an almost 88% sell-through rate, with most of the prices higher than recent closed auctions of the same stuff. The markets are out there if you have the right stuff. And the beauty of ebay is you can do a quick search on "closed auctions" to see if it's even worth attempting to sell on ebay.

If you're stuck with stuff that is "unebayable" then by all means burn off the extra inventory at a yard sale or flea market - you'll probably sell it to people who think the stuff is "ebayable."
