WOULD I BE IN VIOLATION OF ANY A/W RULES IF I WERE TO DELIVER SOME ITEM SOMEONE BOUGHT ON E BAY WITH MY BIG 14 FOOT BOX ENCLOSED LIFTGATE TRUCK ? I WANT TO MAKE SURE BEFORE I SAY ANYTHING. I JUST PUT A HUGE ITEM ON E BAY AND SAID I WOULD NOT SHIP IT BUT I REALIZED IF IT WAS WITHIN 100 MILES OF LOS ANGELES I WOULD RECONSIDER AND DELIVER IT MYSELF. THEN I THOUGHT YOU KNOW THERE MUST BE OTHER PEOPLE IN THIS SAME SITUATION. YOU KNOW, NO CRATING, WRAPPING AND ALL THAT. JUST HOIST IT UP IN THE TRUCK AND ROLL. PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP. THANKS.

I don't see why you can't deliver. I have delivered several times in my local area. Usually is a pain in my butt but you do what you can to make the customer happy. And shipping a large item can be costly.
Good luck Jack!

Hi Jack,
It is fine to deliver and also you can put in the auction that the customer can arrange for pick up. You might offer both, so maybe you won't get stuck trying to ship it or loading/unloading it.
Good luck! I shipped a big crib not too long ago and it was a headache! By the time I was done I was wishing I'd had a big truck to throw the da*m thing in! :0)
AT
I have delivered items before .... even met a lady at a local store parking lot to deliver a bunch of dishes and met a couple at a local garden center !!
I have also had ebayers come to my house to pick up furniture, they were 5 hours away !!
Never have had any problems and it beats packing the stuff up and all !!
