I just encountered my first fraudulent buyer.
Buyer purchased an item via an approved credit card. Bank informed me that billing and shipping address do not match. I sent emails to buyer requesting verification(no response). I called phone number submitted and natrually it isnt the shipping address. I checked member profile. Memeber was suspended in February and yet allowed to bid in March . Checked Member feedback and this person hass won bids on 3 other sellers in March. How is that possible? Looks like I may be out the sale, the product and the EBAY fee. What recourse do I have ?

member could be suspended for 30 days and so in march he is back in action.
some folks use one address for billing and one for shipping but the billing address he gives you must agree with the billing addr credit card co has on file.
note only the numeric portion of street addr and the first 5 zip code is compared.
why dont you call the cc issuer and ask whose card it is,if he is not the owner ,then the real owner should be notified.
as for your ebay item, ask if he wants to send cash .
