I've looked at the ebay rules, and they say something to the fact that you cannot have a link that sells same item you have on auction, for the same price or less.
Ok got that, but any link to your online store, at prices that are higher?
I've gotten in to disagreements with my partner over this, he does NOT sell them under his ebay starting price, or the same, but over in this online store. However he was putting in the range amount they go for in his ebay auction ad for the online store.
I told him not to do this, he argued, but stopped.
What exactly is the policy of linking to your online store?
No I don't have any running on ebay, only he does now.

The INTENTION of ebay frowning upon links in your auctions is to prevent advertising of other SIMILAR sites. I myself have now initiated a website link to my own personal website for more items for sale. The businesses can do it on ebay, so can I. The items generally on my website are items that are very cheap, and would be money losers for me if I listed on ebay, due to the listing fees associated with the items. .50 book value items do not belong on ebay unless you are rich, or advertising. Ebay is not strict in their policy, they will only look at you if you are advertising dutch auctions at .01, or selling information. Do it, my lawyer representing me states "what goes unnoticed, does not happen"....how philosophical.
Rule of thumb. Run specials on ebay from your website, this will attract more attention and traffic. Heck, you'll probably sell the item anyway on ebay if the price is low enough...some of these buyers will buy ANYTHING if the price is low enough.
A site that works in conjunction with ebay and ADVERTISES THIER SERVICE IS AW, GOTO.COM, Honesty.com, Blackthorne Publishing, Andale.com, Mr. Lister, to name a few. Use your best judgement, if you've got the brains to list an item on the computer, you know the difference between right and wrong.
