I have a client that wants me to list their real estate for sale on Ebay. They want me to list it on the International Ebay sites--UK, Canada, and Germany. Is there a difference? I noticed that when I searched the Ebay.co.uk and clicked "Search for items available to the UK" the same items came up that came up on Ebay.com. So I guess my quesion is, if I list something on Ebay, will it come up if someone is searching the French Ebay? Or do I have to list on each site?

I'm not sure, but I think it depends on the selection(s) you make in the "Ship To" section of the "Sell Your Item" page- if you select "worldwide", I believe it would show up on all the international sites.
If this is incorrect, I'm sure somebody will let you (and me) know.

Actually this is a question I just asked of ebay 2 days a ago and they did not give me an answer. I check off will ship internationally but my items did not show up in the Canadian site for example. I asked why and they said they could not answer because I did not give them a specific auction # as an example.....Duhh.....
It is a general not a specific question.
If you check off the will ship to canada box it does show in canada. Maybe you have to check off each box to get it to show in each area. I have not tried it yet - and they are too lazy to answer my question.

Mrpotatoheadd and macandjan: You are absolutely correct. Th search engine for international ebay uses THE CHECKBOXES FOR THEIR SEARCH, as well as ITEM LOCATION. Check off the boxes, if you use AW, you only have to do this once, or vary them on tab 2 of list new item in AMPRO.

OK- I tried out the Canada, U.K. and Australia sites, and this is what I found...
If I search for my items using the search function on the home page of all three, it apparently searches the title only or only finds "items located in xxxx" rather than "items available to xxxx", and my items don't show up. If I click the search tab on the home page to go to the search page, click the "title and description" box, and select "items available to xxxx", my items show up in a search. I searched on a word that is in my auction description but not the title.
When I listed the items, in the "Ship To" section of the listing page, I listed them as "ships worldwide".
