Does anyone know how long you can keep your money in your Yahoo Paydirect account? I know Payplace only allows it for 30 days or they send the money back to the sender. Just wondering about Paydirect. I looked but couldn't find the answer. Does anyone know?

hey val, I'm not familiar with the process of Paydirect, but I'm on a verbose rambling journey today. I have one question:

Do you need the money?

I rarely leave money in ANY online service. Potential for disaster is too high. Convenience for the customer, and convenience for me is really a nice concept.

pnth:

I was just looking for an answer. Wether I need the money or not is not anyone's business but mine. There is a reason I asked the question.

Now, I'll try this again:

Anyone?

Valerie, ignoring questions you don't want to answer is better than whapping somebody upside the head.

Did you ask Yahoo?

I thought pnth was getting smart with me. I just asked a simple question! Geesh, what's up with all the smart-aleck responses???

It's self-replicating, Valerie.

rude - smart-aleck - rude - smart-aleck

Don't count on it. I've noticed certain people who post the same kinds of remarks to others. Guess they have nothing better to do but slam everyone who asks a simple question.

Read the post. If you have an answer, then answer. If not, move on. Guess that's too hard of a concept for some people to understand.

valerie47,

I'm not sure if I understand your question. I've had money in my PayPlace account for 6 months, a small amount and it hasn't been worth moving. I believe the 30 day limit you are referring to is to 'unclaimed funds' (money you've sent to someone without any account)

I don't know what the limit is on a balance in one of these services but I'm guess it would be a long long time, the longer they have your money the happier they are.

I've had a small amount in my PayDirect account over a month also... I'll probably credit it to my credit card.

Thank you, yes that's what I was looking for. I thought I read at Payplace that if you leave money in your account for over 30 days the money will be sent back to the sender. But that does make sense that "unclaimed" funds only would be sent back. I looked all over PayDirect's site and couldn't find where it said how long you can keep money in the account. I have money there also and don't want to transfer it to my bank account yet, (money that has been "accepted" by me) which is why I wanted to make sure if I left it there too long that it wouldn't eventually get sent back to the sender.
