Darn it.
I've only been selling a couple of months, but this is my 3rd high bidder who
de-registers:
1. Immediately upon winning my item (and this last one burned a lot more sellers than just me)
2. Before I (or the other disgruntled) have a chance to leave feedback. Or pull her information.
Now we all have to play out the farce waiting for the time to elapse before we can get out fees back.
And I'm even denied the cold comfort of leaving her a neg.
Darn it.
Silver Lining: At least it's a small amount of money.

It's not a self-NARU. You can't escape from ebay so easily.
I've known people who had to fight for weeks to deregister, during which time ebay entreated them continually to stay.

Well, she registered Sat Sep 16th, bid on a bunch of stuff and was NARU about 1/2 hour after I sent her my EOA, 11:16 PM (central time) last night.
The weird thing is, the EBAY registry shows her as NARU the same day she registered. But she was not NARU all day MON 18th, I know, I refresh constantly, I would have noticed.

If the buyer and seller mutually agree not to complete the transaction, you can receive your FVF refund immediately.
So.... why not email the bidder and say something like, "Since you are no longer a registered eBay user, I assume that you do not wish to wish to follow through with this purchase. Unless I receive a response immediately, I will assume that you are agreeing not to complete this transaction."
Give 'em a couple of minutes to respond. Then fill out the NBP (not FVF) form, stating that you have mutually agreed not to complete the transaction, and you will have your refund immediately.
