Paypal is down and yes they have my money.
Starting in a few days..I will get a $1.00 payment for each and all down time hours......as they have earned interest while their down but, I'm sure they have no guarantee of services or stable fee structure.

Paypal is not down they are closed for SCHEDULED maintance. I am not a fan of paypal anymore and they have enough trouble they caused themselves by being totally unprofessional but you don't need to try start a problem where there is no problem

Might I ask just how you are going to arrange this?

The site is still down. I went there early this morning and there was a message stating that they would be down until 4:00 am Pacific time. Now it says down until 5:30 Pacific time. I wonder what strange and wonderful things we'll find when they do finally come up?

Why are you only going to get $1.00? Why not make it $10.00. I've been charging eBay $25.00 for each downtime they've had, while I've not collected payment on any of those bills on paper I'm up $175.00 just from one week alone. I'm also considering placing a $35.00 fee on my ISP for any downtimes that occur, and $25.00 fee for any downtimes suffered because of troubles with my phone line. I'll only charge the phone company $15.00 if the problem is due to a act of God.
I'll be back later... here comes the nurse with my medications.

How about a fee schedule for the time waiting in a doctors office? I'd say that .50 cents per minute is a fair rate. And don't forget hold times while calling a tech support person at your local utility company.
Can you say "Billable Hours"? I knew you could...

If I had a $1.00 for every clueless eBayer...

How about a fee schedule for the time waiting in a doctors office?
How about, when the doctor finally makes it into the examining room to treat you, you say "can you just wait a minute? I have to pee" - then just leave the office and him wondering where the heck you went.
Another option is to start making balloons of those disposable gloves that are always in the examining room - one for every 5 minutes you wait. If you've got a Sharpie in your pocket, you can draw faces on them and label them with the staffs' names and present them to the doc when he arrives (maybe make two of the "gloveheads" have a dialog in falsetto voices about doctors who leave their patients hanging), or grab your trusty ballpoint and start popping them while you're waiting. When somebody comes to find out what the noise is, innocently tell them you're just keeping yourself entertained while you wait.
Juvenile fantasies, I know....

Both PayPal and x.com work fine now!! All my transfers (except the one I just did Sunday night) have been taken care of and show up in my bank account!! At least that part is still working.....for now.

I have had no problems with money transfers into my account since this mess started. I checked my bank this morning and the $210 transfer is in right on time. I know they screwed up big time with the PR and all, but lets not spread more rumors than are already running rampant everywhere.
