Our Seller Protection Program offers limited protection for credit card chargebacks (claims of non-delivery/credit card fraud)---these items are explained in our terms of use. Our security tips also advise buyers/sellers how to avoid potential trouble.

Oh I love that from Damon…
Limited protection from Chargebacks ? So what about e-checks and paypal funds? Those are reversals and not chargebacks.
So was Paypal false advertising ? I was told as a premier account holder that I would get sellers protection. But I got no protection from Paypal when I took Paypal funds from a “verified” account.
A Paypal user paid me from my ebay item. They paid with Paypal funds. After they clearly got the item, Paypal allowed them to file a fraudulent claim against me and Paypal processed it !!!
The buyer gave me an address. I shipped with online tracking to that address and they signed for it. They then logged into their Ebay account and left me positive feedback saying they got the item and was happy with it. They e-mailed me saying they got the item.
But Paypal reversed over $350 out of my account to try and give back to the fraudulent buyer?
They attempted mail fraud and Paypal allowed them.
They even have now even told a USPS mail fraud investigation that they got the item and reversed payment after they got it.
So everyone knows they attempted mail fraud and Paypal still stands behind the buyers right to commit mail fraud by using their service.
Paypal made no effort to help me recover funds.
Paypal told me I was at “buyers Mercy”
Paypal hung up on me whenever I would call and ask to speak to supervisor
And I was a premier account holder for almost 2 years.
Thanks Paypal for the garbage you call service. And the person who frauded me thanks you also because without your service and help, they could not have done what they did.
Only by using Paypal funds, they did not have to call their credit card company. They asked Paypal to help them attempt mail fraud (by them clearly getting the item and then asking for their money back). And even thought they got the item, Paypal let them reverse funds against me.
