club1man Just what I said months ago they pumped the stock and now their dumping it.

I missed the article about them pumping the stock. Can you supply a link to that or is this another one of those "I've talked to those in the know" remarks?

It's not unusual for entrepreneurs to liquidate some of their holdings once their companies become publicly traded, particularly one that has been as warmly received as PayPal. Since PayPal's initial public offering of stock at $13 per share in mid-February, the shares have traded as high as $30.48. Associated Press Wed Jun 12, 5:40 PM ET

Pssst... did you read about New York's decision on PayPal?

I love New York in June.
How about you?
I love a Gershwin tune.
How about you...

No I didn't talk to people in the know it was as easy to see that they would do that as it was to see that you'd be the first with negative answer to my post. Hold on to your stock it's going DOWN. Be sure of one thing pete and max won't care.

I liked this part:

New suits
While PayPal's regulatory difficulties seem to be improving, other legal problems have cropped up recently. Already facing two class-action suits, one each in federal and California state courts, PayPal was hit with two more class-action suits earlier this month, filed by the same lawyers who filed the original suit in February, according to the company's regulatory filing.

Multiple class action lawsuits..... Multiple....

LOL!! To god I pray, make PrayPal go away. My best wishes go out to those involved in the class action lawsuits. I hope that you are all able to close their doors forever. A company that refuses to take care of their customers should be taken out of commission.

Multiple Class-action suits,

I guess that means there are a lot of people out there that can not read the TOS (sarcasm). With this company, it is always the customer's fault, they can never do anything wrong.

Just like the other post that PayPal says they have never been hacked, according to PayPal, the customer had to give the password out.

One law suit that is not being talked is gold and silver reserves multi million dollar suit against PAYPONZI and peter thiel personally for defamatory remarks made. This one isn't fighting the little people. Smith Downey is litigating that one.

Gold and silver reserves? If you mean egold.com why not say egold.com, or is this something new?

Is this the comment the suit is over?

"While I doubt this person [Brody] is engaged with the Russian mafia, I don't think [he and other e-Gold merchants] are totally innocent either," Thiel says. "They certainly know that much of the money they're receiving is from suspicious sources."

Do you think there's ever been an incident that might give that remark some validity?

The Secret Service has raided a New York state business that exchanged dollars for grams of the digital currency called e-gold.

You were lucky that PayPal put you out of business before the Secret Service kicked down your door. You might never admit that in public, but I believe that may have crossed your private thoughts.

Uaru
I've had the FBI in my house they were invited. Their suspicious about PAYPONZI.
What you failed to point out was those people were innocent of all charges and so was e-gold. Just more of you stupid allegations and half truths in order to pump up a dirtbag compamy like PAYPONZI.
Skow me where all the message boards are about e-gold or gold and silver reserve are!
Their reputation is above reproach and they have taken all the scrutiny from the government and passed with a triple A rating. Next time come up with something factual instead of your stupid half a**ed insinuations.

I see my problem. I used Paypal thinking it was a safe and convient way to trasfer money.

But Looks like I was wrong

[moneyslavesforteenagequeen]

I have been paying paypal to treat me like Vanessa treats her clients. At least her terms of use is only a couple lines compared to Paypal's ever changing pages and pages.

And at least she has the nerve to tell you up from you are going to get taken for your money and you may like it. Paypal just tricked me. I should of just sent my money to her rather then let Paypal dupe me by allowing one of their accounts to comit mail fraud against me.

Oh well.....

club1man,

I'm shocked, simply shocked to learn that PayPal (or VISA, MasterCard, Western Union or even USPS Money Orders for that matter) could be used for such uses. I'm shocked, shocked I tell you!

Now that is out of the way, please provide me something to back up this previous statement of yours.

KKAAZ your right were in the wrong business. PAYPONZI takes care of scammers degenerates and pot growers. LMAO they have 4 people that promote them on these boards, 1 who provides BS and stall tactics and 3 groupies 2 of which are gone and another who wishes he could move to Missouri and prove it. A company thats not doing anything wrong doesn't have to prove anything to someone who doesn't matter.

Good point. If I ever to decide to become a scam artist I will be sorry that I closed my PrayPal account. I could just scam people all day long as they would protect me from prosecution. It is so very easy to defraud people with PrayPal to protect you. Just think of all the stuff that I could claim to have never received that PrayPal will let me have for free. All I would have to do is just search for auctions where the seller doesn't use delivery confirmation and I would be home free with PrayPals loopholes to protect me. They will even harbor my information where the seller can't find out who I am. Hallelujah, Show Me The Money!!!!!

Too bad I'm an honest person or I could make a decent living off of unsuspecting PrayPal members, or at least fill my home with some nice free stuff.

I don't mind the pot growers or the sex goddesses. At least they earn an honest living and people ask for what they offer.

Paypal lured me in with the xcom $5 for free and I just blindly kept using them and I refered like 5 people. Shame on me. They have all had problems with Paypal...

But I have saved more then 5 people. I used to get e-mails weekly from Ebay users thanking me for showing them "the light".

Paypal stright harbored a fraudulent user. I proved with a USPS mail fraud investigation that the account was used to attempt mail fraud and Paypal stood behind the account and it's right to comit fraud thanks to their terms of use. And they never would help me contact the person or even confirm my shipping address without a judge making them.

Any company that allows mail fraud simply based on the "confirmed" status of their address is crazy. All Paypal users should unconfirm their address and then they have an open invitation to get their money back after they get the item. (that is wrong. Don't comit mail fraud !!! ****disclaimer****)

I hope Paypal dumps it's stock but I do want them to have some funds left over to pay out on some of those lawsuits !!!!!!

There is power in numbers, so get your friends to join and ask them to get there's to join also.
My lawyers have been in contact with girrard, gibbs and also lawyers and attorney generals in several states. Joining will keep you informed as well as showing that we can come together as a powerful group.

I thought that mlm and these types of business were not allowed according to the TOS, well, maybe at least one of versions somewhere.

Regarding the comment I made about Fred, I was talking a guy named Fred that was convicted about making false press releases from lucent technologies (although he turned out to be right). That is why he was convicted, not be because he talked bad about a company. If they could arrest you for talking bad about a publicly traded company, then half the U.S. population would be in Jail

Paypal was 'founded', and that infamous customer base number that they love to throw around, was allegedly BUILT on pyramid type marketing. This group of kids (they now call CEO, CFO & the like) started out with "... and I told 2 friends, and they told 2 friends, and so on."

Then, of course, they started offering $5 for everyone to tell their "2 friends" to sign up. And here we are.

reason why stock is dropping is due to venture capitalists cashing in their chips.
remember those guys, they get in at ground level?? or is it basement?
rumors said they are going to use the proceeds to buy enron, dynergy, cms energy, duke energy,el paso,williams,qwest,worldcom/mci and more.

reason why stock is dropping is simple when the ceo and others decide to dump stock it means they have no confidence in the price going higher and they want to CASH in.....nothing wrong with that but shows they have no confidence in their own company.....stopwhinning i sometimes wonder what you are smoking at times
