Good day. About a month ago, I made a transfer into my PayPal account in the amount of $883.36 because I intended on making a purchase with my PayPal account for an amount close to $1000.00. However, soon after that transfer I discovered (note: PayPal did not contact me; I had to find out for myself) that my account had been restricted. I assume this restriction came from my being a minor who, normally, would not be in possession of funds so high. I followed the required steps by mailing in a copy of my driver’s license, the most recent copy of a bank statement in my name as well as my mother’s (Paula Chong), a recent copy of her credit card bill since it is also listed in my PayPal account, the letter of authorization from my mother allowing me to use the account, and the most recent phone bill for the phone number registered in my account (this bill is in her name since I am a minor and do not pay bills). I have faxed this information multiple times, and each time I have failed to receive any kind of response from PayPal other than a form letter informing me that my fax had been received. This, to me, is very disturbing since I have this large sum of money in my account, which I am unable to access. I have faxed the required information numerous times, I have written to PayPal numerous times, and all of my efforts have returned nothing but form letters and regurgitated information on the part of PayPal, Inc.. Mine is case number PP-000-110-931, and I would greatly appreciate any assistance you might be able to give.

Unfortunately they will get around to it whenever they feel like it. Their customer service is the worst I've ever seen. Its almost as if they are trying to lose customers. Good Luck getting your money back from those tyrants.

Right, and PayPal contacted me about that telling me that I had to have a letter of authorization from my parents allowing me to use the account. I guess I forgot to mention that prior to this incident I had already faxed in the required (notarized) letter.
But hey, all is good now, the restriction has been lifted.
