I'm using a blank template for out eBay auctions and would like to display the tile of the auction, but for some reason, %%AW_Title_Data%% isn't working. It just displays as blank in the preview even though I supplied a title to the listing.

Per Sonja's post here in this SmPro thread...
And Diana's post here in This SmPro thread...

And both of Sonja's and Diana's posts here in this Sales Manager thread...

I take it we shouldn't have been holding our breath.
Vendio: When a topic important enough surfaces on the vendio board to come from several users at once, it would be helpful to post answers in the original threads --or at least post a reference in the original and secondary threads that those threads are now being bypassed and the requested answers are being given elsewhere to other users instead. Otherwise putting ones name on an automatic emailing list waiting and hoping to hear the eventual answer promised when it comes back "from engineering" (or anywhere else) is worthless.
In this case neither midwestdiscountgolf nor I would have been on the SM thread automailing list that finally gave the answer. It was diverted not only a to third user's thread, but a thread begun in another vendio service section of the board. That cuts me out once (as a participant) and cuts midwestdiscountgolf out twice (as the originator of 2 threads requesting the same information) of receiving the answers promised on those threads.
That means if a vendio user trusts their community automailing response notices rather than scanning all the community posts for every service on every vendio board on every day, they can simply sit in limbo forever. Their information is given to others instead, and their posts are ignored and forgotten because their now-worthless threads are bypassed by customer service, left with no useful or final reply, and allowed to drop off into oblivion through nonuse.

I am quite disappointed in those responses as well.
I was anxious to jump on board with Vendio because I had read about someone using a %%AW_Title_Data%% so I assumed that macros were FINALLY implemented.
However, it seems that is not the case and will not be for some time. I still am giving Vendio a try, but I honestly think that I will be back to using SA Pro shortly. I cannot use my custom template (which I love) without macros. The time in would take to do listings by manually inserting the date for each and every item individually would not be cost-effective.

Hi Lori. Thank you for your post. I would love to see an example of an auction where you ran your custom template that used macros successfully. Is your template completely custom in all aspects, or did you customize your portions within a specified selected layout offered by your prior program? Do you have an active or expired listing that could be viewed? Thanks!!!

I have not been able to post an auction with my custom template via Vendio at all. I am still working on it using the Blank template.
Here is an example of my custom template, but using SA Pro.
2963854859
The title, images, shipping and description (starting with "fabulous product" are all pulled in via macros (or variables). The links that say "more Bobbi Brown" or any where that Bobbi Brown is mentioned are also macros using a %%partnumber%% macro. This way, I was able to say "click here for more xxx" and the correct brand was inserted.
I do not believe I am going to be able to do this with Vendio I HATE SA Pro for post-auction management, but I may have to stick with them because of the macro capabilities.
