Online and offline inventories do not synch. The idea behind this is that most users will prefer to use either online inventory (for the round-trip functionality) or offline inventory, but probably not both. There is a way to upload an inventory item from Pro, but it is quite a workaround (you need to upload a Vendio Store item with qty zero so it will not appear in your store, then you need to go to online inventory and set up the site-specific information in the inventory item as this will not apply to Vendio Store items.)

They should sync in my opinion. Reason being the online version is far too slow and takes too long to move items etc.

BOOO! Vendio Inventory BLOWS! Makes no sense as to why they dont synch! They might as well not even have an inventory option.
