Heres a view of what I get to look at everyday. Post one of yours if you like. (I borrowed this idea off the other thread of love of where one lives)

Central California Coast, between SF and LA,taken about 3 minutes ago.

Ooh, beautiful scenery Maui!

Here are two pics which I took from the balcony of the building where I work about two years ago.

Puget Sound:

Downtown Seattle:

Where I'd really like to live is across the water there, on the Olympic peninsula. I'd love to have a little house up on a bluff.

I don't think this is gonna show up...I'm not so hot on http! It is supposed to be my apartment in Tiburon.

even59,

Try this:

Just leave out the asterisks. Hope this helps!

Uh, that would be...ht...ml, huh? OK all I know is it usually works when all the pic info fits in one line. But mine doesn't fit in one line. HMMMM!

even59,

Another suggestion. Since your image is rather large, you might want to link to it rather than post the images themselves.

You would do that like this:

[*url]http://imagehost.auctionwatch.com/preview/ev/even59/TiburonApt.jpg[*/url]

Again, just leave out the asterisks.

even59,

Sorry! This board uses UBB instead of html.
All you forgot was the opening and closing brackets. [ at the beginning and ] at the end.

Here's the link:

This picture was taken looking out my living room window at 4:30 PM (local time) this afternoon.

Looking north, up the Hudson River (the river is behind the tree), Albany NY is just over the horizon.

If you want to post a picture, try this.

[$img]place.your.url.here[/img$]

Just leave out the $ at both ends.

[$img]http://sites.netscape.net/barrybarris/earthsm.JPG[/img$]

The sample above will post the picture below. Just leave out the $ at both ends.

Barry (BTW, I did not take this picture.....) Barris

[Pic for even59 edited out because it was big and stretching out the screen... but instructions remain below. ]

even59, do it like this:

[ img ]http://imagehost.auctionwatch.com/preview/ev/even59/TiburonApt.jpg[ /img ]

but without the spaces inside the brackets.

Barry(snow man)Barris....I wish it would snow here, just for a minute or two. Been a long time since I saw it, felt it, or played in it. So, go out and make a snow angel for me, k? In your sarong

BBL after I get back from dentist, and will take more pics of the area here, and maybe my complex. BTW, I do all the gardening around here, so its a "studied disarray", which the tenants love (and makes it much easier on me, lol)

oooh oooh aaaah niiiice!

Great thread Maui, I want to post a pic but Mr. Nobs has the Mavica and I have no idea where he put it (it may be with him at work because he took the laptop and may be doing ebay pics). I have some great pics of NH that I would love to scan but I have not yet learned how to use this scanner. So maybe tomorrow evening I will get something up here. I am helping out at my son's place tomorrow - it is Wednesday!

Barry (gee I have missed you) Barris

Here's a pic of my hometown in Southern California that's updated every 60 seconds. Right now (at 3:00 pm) it's a nice shot of a warm January afternoon on the beach. Bout 75 here today (a little warmer than our usual).

http://hermosa-beach.com/livecam.html

I cycle or walk past the cam every couple days and I always hope it's not broadcasting me to envious folks in colder climes....I'm not a very good "California Poster Girl"!!

If this one works, there will be a better pic of my fish, Feo(aren't you excited?) and me in '96.
Thanx Rainy, for getting my Tiburon Apt up for me. Isn't it just too cozy?

I don't have to post pictures! Look at Rainybears pictures of Seattle. That is where I live. As a matter of fact if you could scan a little to the left in the water/mountain picture you could almost see where I live.I look at those mountains every day out my kitchen window.
