Years ago I read an article in a magazine about where celebrities send their cards after the holiday season. I found that this organization will refurbish the card and sell them to make money and have sent them my cards for many years. They also accept other greeting cards throughout the year.

Superb idea/reminder!
I, too, had forgotten you could do that...
I'm going to scan the ones I like for future use (I make my own) and then send them off to St.Jude's...
The site says also, they'll take ANY kind of Greeting Card, so this can be a Year Round thing, EVEN cooler!
I see, also, you can purchase recycled cards, thereby sort of "doubling" your support!
Now THIS is the kind of thread I LIKE!
