You use Ivory Snow baby detergent, about 4 cups of the Ivory to 1/2 cup of water. Mix it up well with a mixer or wooden spoon. The "recipe" I found said to use 2 cups per 1/2 cup of water, but it was much to soupy to shape, so I kept adding the Ivory until it was easy to work with.
Shape the different size balls, and use toothpicks to stick them together with.
The buttons and eyes are peppercorns. The nose is a twig painted orange on the end, and twigs for arms. The mouth is red craft paint dabbed on with a small brush.
Let them stand overnight to harden and turn bright white.
1 26 ounce box made about 5 snowmen.
