I've just a newbie to the AW "community" but I've really enjoyed the interaction. I can actually say I've learned some things in spite of my own bullheadedeness, and I've certainly been entertained here. Despite the obvious divergence in opinions and backgrounds, it's been a pleasure being here.
May all of you thave a great holiday season, and may the new year bring you much success (by whatever standard you measure it)!

Reading the RT has been especially enjoyable the last month. I had pretty much lost interest and only periodically skimmed the forum, but the place has definitely come alive lately. I'm leaving for a winter vacation shortly and before someone actually goes into cardiac arrest mid-post, I wanted to thank all those responsible for the revitilization.
Also wishing the happiest of holidays to everyone: the seasoned regulars and the new additions; all trolls--resident, visiting, and apprentice; the reincarnated, the resurected and the newly vivisected. You're a great group.

I'd like to add my best wishs and holiday cheer to everyone here. That goes for the lurkers too. I lurked a long time so I know you're out there. Also to the people that don't post anymore but still read. Especially, Barry(I miss your sense of humor)Barris, don't know why you left, but I wish you would come back. And of course to the AW staff.
Hope you all get what you want for Christmas and I'm looking forward to being a part of AW in 2001.

junquemama, thanks. As a Christmas gift we're taking several close friends with us so I know that we'll have a great time. Hope your Christmas and New Years are the best ever.
We're spending today delivering gifts to the friends and relatives that we haven't seen yet and then...up, up, and away.
