About an inch of snow on the ground from yesterday but most should be gone by the end of the day. They are talking about snow but that ain't gonna happen. In the 30s today, tomorrow supposed to be hit 60.

Here in North-central AR....it's beautiful today. About 73 degrees, sunny and a lovely wind blowing through my bedroom windows. It's wonderful....a perfect day, imo.
Last night we were under a tornado watch until about 4:00 AM this morning...that always gets my blood circulating through my old veins.

65 today and sunny...70's by the end of the week..it snowed over the weekend and got real cold, but we didn't get enough to do any good, only about .25" of water..3-6 inches in the high pasture so it'll help with some grass for the summer when the herd moves up there..First precip. here on the ranch in 146 days. I beat the state's 143 days by a few. Low 20's at night. This kind of cold-warm cycle is prime time for pneumonia in the herd. Keeping my fingers crossed and lots of antibiotic syringes filled up. Anybody need a dose?

Near...I've gotten used to the thunder/lightning storms even the ones with heavy hail. But I tell you even after almost 6 years here....those tornado warnings and watches still scare the [you know what] out of me. Especially when the fierce winds stop blowing and everything gets just too quite and still. No birds singing...no bugs/frogs/etc making their normal noice....just total quiet. SCARY [shake]

Snow on the valley floor. It melts off quickly, but it snowed in Hanford, Clovis, and Fresno. It snows in Fresno once every five to ten years. It snowed in Frisco, too, but that is not quite as rare.
