Took my 3 GRAND-MUNCHKINS to see "Nanny McPhee" yesterday (written by & starring EMMA THOMPSON) & it was one of the bestest KID-FLICKS I've seen in a long time...ALL THREE loved it (6 + 9 + 12)...and SO DID I!
Tis fun when we ALL can see a really QUALITY flick together...

I took my borrowed niece & nephew (Ages 5 and 2-1/2) to Curious George on Saturday. The little one never took his eyes off the screen and ate half my popcorn. Totally mesmerized, and he understood every bit of it.
It's a very good movie for the ultra-little ones.

I've seen the previews for Nanny McPhee. It does look good. And though my grankid isn't old enough to go to the movies (1 year 1 month old ) I would go see it!

Near I saw a good sci-fi/comic book type movie coming out calling Ultra Violet. That looked like it should be good. Have you seen the trailer or anything? (since I know you like sci-fi)

dbl, Yeah I did see the preview to that. Wasn't sure, as they are making a lot of these new sci fi (or futuristic) movies like video games, sort of, you know what I mean? And a lot of them look like a rip off of the Matrix.
I do like sci fi, and I'll admit, I like the 'doomsday' movies, Armageddon, The Stand, The day After Tommorow, those kind.
Loved the Matrix, but it was like the first of its kind.
