I have some items that I have posted which have zero shipping costs and local pick-up only. I did this because of the size of the items.

My question is a result of my saved searches on e-bay. When I go though the saved searches that e-bay sends daily, I don't see any of my items, even in the newly listed sort option.

My question: Is this happening because I have listed the items for local pick-up only? Or could it be because E-bay already knows what I am selling and doesn't show those auctions? Do people search for things using cities or zip codes? If so, I don't know how to do that. This is a little frusterating when I don't see the things I have listed....

In my experience the local search on ebay doesn't really work very well. It could be my lack of experience in searching but I don't find many items near my location.

Local pick up limits your ability to sell an items to less than 20- 30 percent on ebay - IMO.

Why not just list on Craigslist with those odds?
