Looking for your opinion and advice. Have an interested bidder on an item that has already received bids that I'm happy with. That aside, I've had some questions re: changing the shipping details listed to accommodate bidder's needs. My business partner agreed via email to accommodate by shipping to a different address (still in USA) than is listed on PP acct.
I disagree and have gone to the extreme of looking up the potential bidder's "feedback left for others" record via the advanced search method only to find out that this person is pretty brutal.
Opinion needed is: Can I block this person from bidding on our items before their bid is even placed? Does the fact that emails through the ebay message system occurred prevent that? Are we obligated in any way to Potentially sell to this person?
This just feels bad to the bone. Feels like an accident waiting to happen.

You can block any bidder you want, especially prior to their bidding on your item if you have a bad feeling re the terms, etc.

PS: you can safely ship to another address when the buyer pays through Paypal and still be protected as long as they list the address that you are shipping the item to in the ship to address. It does not have to be THEIR address, but it must be stated in the notice as the address for delivery.

The first thing I do when I get an offer is check the FB the buyer leaves other.
I don't need some crazy nut case leaving me bad FB for a $20 item.
