I just had a customer ask me to wait a week before shipping because he is in India and doesn't want the item sitting on his porch all that time.
Hmmm... so, under new eBay policies, I should have to print a label within 24 hours and then commit mail fraud by shipping it a week after the post date.
It is nice that eBay wants people to commit fraud.

Yup, shag, I thought of that, also. I told one buyer about the new policy & said in the future, not to pay until you want the item shipped. Notify the seller, but do not put them into a bind.
As I've said before, it is uplifting to me, because it takes all th pressure off of me when I am no longer engaged in trying to do the impossible.

Makes no difference anyway..I've been a Power Seller for a year now and every month ebay has found a reason to disallow a discount..so this is just another reason not to give discounts. I've gotten used to it by this time.

You can tell your Indian customer he can buy this item when he returns home if it is still available,or you can remove the listing and hold the item for him.
If he does not buy,you can always relist ,it only costs a nickel to relist.
Indians have large family,if he wants it bad enough,he would have a relative to pick up the item on the porch or wherever.
Or you can print the shipping label and then ship a week later risking the chance you could end up in jail if your Indian buyer snitch on you.
