I just started using Vendio about a week ago, and overall I felt like it was going to be the right solution for me. However, I face a very serious issue, and it's caused me to hold off listing my 2000 or so products back on eBay...

I have imported all of my existing inventory that I used from another provider, and uploaded all 3000+ images to Vendio as well with no problems whatsoever. BUT when I simply try and "BULK LIST" my items on the "Items" Vendio page, by clicking "Send --> eBay", the items list, BUT THERE IS NO GALLERY IMAGE SENT TO EBAY!!! The listings list everything else correctly, including description, template, item specifics, terms, shipping, etc, etc., however one of the most vital pieces to the listing is MISSING, the eBay Gallery Image! When I go back into all of my items details in Vendio, it shows the images correctly, under all areas, including the "eBay Info --> More eBay options" section in the Vendio Item Details page.

If I post an individual item from the Item Details page by clicking the radio button, post now on save, then the item lists correctly with the much needed gallery image. But when I try to select multiple inventory items on the Items page search results, and click "send to eBay" and list them, they list with no gallery image, which kills my listings instantly, as no seller would accept listing something without this vital piece of the puzzle.

So my question is pretty obvious at this point, what am I missing if anything? Or , is any other Vendio user/customer experiencing this same thing?

I will use this service only if it works for me, and so far it has not done so. I have tried calling into Vendio. I have left them a detailed voicemail with my number early Friday morning, and have not received a call or email back regarding this important issue. That alone has me worried if I should trust my business with this service....? Any thoughts?

Again, I like the way this service seems to be setup to manage both my eBay, Amazon, and website business, but if it doesn't work for me, or if I cannot get any help, obviously I'm going to have to look for something else. I cannot afford to have no cash flow with all my listings down for more than they have already been down for during this transition away from Channeladvisor.

Someone please help me, shed some light on this situation, or maybe it's a clear solution I'm missing. Since I couldn't get help from the provider themselves, I'm using this forums site as a last ditch effort to get help before I move on.

If it's a global issue happening with all users, then I'm at a loss as to why it's not fixed by now. There is no way I can list one item at a time, when I have thousands of SKUS, I have to be able to use that bulk lister.

Thank you very much for your time, and I hope this message gets some traction. I really need it to.

Thanks,

Peter

Sorry you are having such a bad time, Peter.
It sounds to me like there maybe something that is not set up correctly in your preferences. I would check to be sure that you have it set up to include a gallery photo.
The problem is that you are on a different format than many of the users who post here, so it maybe something you need to do that we don't.
Hard to say for sure.
You may want to post on the Vendio services board. You would get help there faster in most cases.
Vendio CS is normally very good so don't give up. Maybe a Holiday issue.

Hello Peter,

Please note that you may contact us at any time by going to "Help" (at the top right of the page in your Vendio account) --> then click the "Request Support" button in the "Contact Us" section and fill out the contact form.

Please note that in the past when this has happened, it has been a transient problem on eBay's end. The way the eBay gallery image works is that eBay will use the image that is specified as the gallery image. However, if no image is specified they will automatically use the first image in the listing as the gallery image. When eBay's site is working correctly the only way your listing should not have a gallery image is if there are no images in your listing.

I did try to duplicate the problem by launching listings using the "Send To" method as well as launching from within the inventory item. However, the listings all launched with an eBay gallery image. It is likely coincidence that you ran into the problem when launching one way rather than another.

In order to correct the problem with the active listings, please use eBay's gallery correction form and enter the image URL. You may find the image URL in Vendio by going to "Images" --> "My Images" --> then click the magnifying glass icon next to the image and copy the URL from the "Image Url" field. You may locate eBay's gallery correction form here:

Nathan

Hello Nathan,

While I appreciate your reply to my matter, it's NOT resolved! I'm growing increasingly frustrated over this. I need to get my listings back up on eBay since switching providers and your bulk lister is not working. It lists my items without gallery images. I've already wasted like $5.00 listing items and ending them early because of this.

I just now went in on my lunch break to try and list some items to test what you say works, and it does NOT work still. I listed two items, and both show no image. In the item details of these items in Vendio, they show everything perfectly with images assigned to items.

Why are my items not listing with an image. I need specific technical help on this soon or I may have to switch to someone else, which I do not want to do.

Please look at my eBay account "wirelessaccessories.com", and see the 2 most recent covers I just listed, and please go into my vendio account and tell me why this is not working. Im trying to bulk list more than 1 item from the "Items" pages.

Thanks everyone else for replying,

Peter

Hello Peter,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will bring this to the engineering staff to investigate further. Unfortunately, for troubleshooting purposes, this isn't something we have ran into previously or can even replicate at this time (in my own account that is.)

Would it be OK for us to list a single test item to eBay's test category through your account to further document this behavior? It's not always required but could help narrow down why this is effecting your items/account specifically.

Chris

Hello,

How were the items that your running into this issue with created exactly? You mentioned importing them from another provider. Did you end up importing off of a CSV file, or just by running an eBay import to pull that data directly off of a live eBay listing?

I did create a test listing in your account to test the behavior, but it doesn't display this issue when launched via the 'Send To' function as you ran into with the others.

Im thinking there must be something somehow tied into the backend data from these import records that is throwing off our or eBay's system (when launched via Send To, if you have confirmed that listing the *same* item the other way does bypass this issue.)

Chris

I just created a Support Request, because at this point, I have no idea where to go. I did import my items into your system, but I created the import out of your Sample Upload File, so I find it hard to think it was something in that, but obviously it could be. Everything looked good to me in it again after further review. I do not understand what I'm supposed to do next at this point.....??

Very frustrated and concerned if this will work,

Pete

Hello Pete,

Thank you for the additional information. Working off of an actual support request will be a lot more efficient than a message board thread (and this isn't actually in the support area of the forums.)

We will continue to work with and follow up with you there.

Regards,
Chris
