I just received an out of the ordinary email. It was from a regular email, not thru the ebay system. They asked if I would ship an item to Australia (ok, we do) and gave an email address. We always reply via eBay messages. When I went to reply, I realized there was no respond button. It seemed to be a direct email. There was no mention of item #, Question for seller etc. Just a regular email with "shipping to Australia" in the subject line. I searched the address, it says it is a valid member. I didn't think you could directly email anymore??

Have they bought from you before? I have sent emails directly to sellers if I have them in my address book.

I haven't sold to them before. It could be fishing?? I tried to directly email someone myself ( no ebay item # or mention ofebay at all), just to see if it could be done and I could not find a way to do it. HMMMM
