My husband's auction keeps showing up as paypal required? He doesn't even accept paypal. He has checked off check or money order. It's auction 170187592870. We tried ending it and relisting it but the same thing keeps coming up.

Gawd, you must be hard up for money. How horrible to display a dead animal and expect to auction it off.

niel35... that's what trappers/hunters do. the other half of us that don't 'do' the hunting scene aren't supposed to, or aren't expected to understand it. but hunters do. ...really.

Hmm - I guess the "fox" I saw behind my house last week was a coyote! He looked a little tall and gangly for a fox and color wasn't right. I didn't think we had coyotes in metro area anymore but guess they're BACCCCCCCK!

Neglus, you've had stranger creatures - I remember when Lizzie saw a kangaroo back there- or a deer, she wasn't sure which it was...

Not so "safe" for the DOA coyote?

Why in the hell do people kill animals, what has that beautiful Coyote done to deserve this. Slaughtered so he can be a trophy, it's sick, sick, sick that someone can go into his home & kill him for the thrill of it. He's helpless against a man with a gun & it's so cruel & unfair.
Nature is beautifully balanced because of anomals, only thing screwing it up is man who serves no purpose at all. Never found anyone yet who could tell me one thing we ever did to better this Earth.
My favorite George Carlin comedy bit was something like we are arrogant to think man will destroy the Earth. He said we were probably put here by Mother Nature to make plastic, something that didn't exist & when she gets tired of us all she will shake us off like so many fleas & the Earth will go on & on & will flourish without us.
If things are out of balance don't blame the animals blame us, we did it.
Leave them alone, we need them, they don't need us.

You go, mcjane! Couldn't agree more. Sad, just sad. It was one thing when people had to hunt for food. All of the animal was used for survival. I just don't understand hunting for sport and then stuffing the poor creature for display. I don't think I'll ever get it.

cheryl, my friend, says, " I just don't understand hunting for sport..."
as i said in my post, us people that DO NOT do hunting as a sport, don't understand it,.. but hunters really do. this is probably an 'argument' that will go on forever and a day, and won't be one-sided ...ever.
i could say, why can we kill babies / fetuses legally and critters too?
don't even get me started... i don't like the "RT"

i'm also thinking at this point, that the OP's only err here, is mentioning the auction item number, or this topic would have never been expounded on.

Ya, Marcia, I agree. AND, I never would have had to see that poor animal lying there. That's a picture that's not going to be out of my head anytime soon.

I wanted to have my Afghan hound stuffed when he died but I didn't. He was such a dufus dog he would have been perfect just sitting in the corner forever and a day
I DO have to say though that when I read about the freezing and sending it via priority mail that it just made me shudder. Remember the thread a week or so ago about some Priority Mail taking 3 weeks or more to arrive? What would happen when the coyote started defrosting en route? Is it legal to send a frozen dead animal via USPS?
