I'm not sure, Ray:

MINE is more of a RED CROSS cross?

Can you see it on this website Tom?

The crown suggests British or British colony to me.

Tom, Rowdy agrees with Amber. He thinks it is British on the St. Georges Red Cross. Good luck. (ruff ruff)

THANKS, Amber and Rowdy!
I looked at EVERY badge there, and none have the CROWN on top of the CROSS -- I'm getting CROSS-EYED...and poor Ralphie is WALL-EYED, so we be a matched pair of opposites...

I think it is Norwegian or Swedish. The blue circle around the crown reminded me of King Olaf of Norway. See this

I have no idea! I don't think it's Red Cross related because of the crown. I think the thing that's special about the Red Cross is that it is International and not related to crowns or presidents.
I would guess it's religious.
Here is image from British Red Cross Society auction:

Well...
He cans a mean sardine...
Now, if only Ralphie & I could convince him to leave our buddies, THE WHALES, alone, there'd be no more "blubbering" in our happy hokey hovel...

I was thinking Sweden too but could not find it this morning. Looked at Fellowships and Red Cross sites. Learned alot from looking anyway. 7 million members of fellowship societies after the Civil War. Good luck in finding the association!

When I was doing consignment selling, and I was completely stumped, I would take my best guess and list it. Within 24 hours, I'd get an email along the lines of "Claude, you ignorant slut! That's obviously not a therblig, it's an inverted anti-therblig. You should be ashamed of trying to cheat honest eBayers this way."

OT:
Claude - I see that you're an SNL fan. That early group - Curtin/Radner/Belushi/Chase/Akroyd - were a force to be reckoned with as comics - but since I was at a very impressionable age, that could have been a factor as well.

OT Wayne, back in my youth I would sometimes alter my consciousness in ways that I no longer do. It was during one of those times that I first turned on SNL, and saw what I thought was Joe Cocker having a seizure. I called a friend to have him turn his TV on, but he finally convinced me that it was Belushi playing a bit.
