What methods are you using to get some of your eBay customers to visit your Vendio Store. I know eBay allows you to have a link on your About Me page and you can urge customers to view it from your auction listings.

Other than the link provided by Vendio in the listings, what other methods are there?

Flyer in all packages.

Store address in About Me page, all emails (ebay and personal), Ebay invoice and WBN's, Ebay emails saying that payment arrived, shipping and follow-up.

Search Engines. The google ad guys told me NOT to have my ebay items in my vendio store. This has been a positive effect on my sales.

Live journal, blog, squidoo, and any boards that I visit (except this one).

If I think of anything else I will add to it. Perhaps Koz will chime in as he has done a great job with his stores.

Beth is correct and thanks to her advice my sells are increasing. I was already doing the link in all my emails. Visiting sites and posting on the forums has brought in business. I even found a few auction sites strictly related to what I am selling and have done well.

I still have to do a flyer to send with my invoices.

Beth are you still using google ad words? I thought you gave up on that one. I did. Now I use that money to buy ad words on sites that are more related to my items and its a heck of a lot cheaper.

Just a few simple thoughts from a very simple mind.

I also have a Vendio store. I use both Google and Yahoo ads. Presently, I am only using adwords for one category - 'Christmas Seals'. However, this will increase to a few more categories at the end of March.

I also have links in my email. I use Vendio checkout. My gallery is a link to my Vendio store. That way, the ebay buyer is taken to the Vendio store. Further, there are links to my ebay 'Me' page with further links to my ebay store. The link to the 'Me' page appears in both the Vendio and ebay item descriptions.

Since the Vendio store is short on space, there are links to information which both the ebay and Vendio stores share.

I also joined Square Trade. The logo for Square Trade appears in both the Vendio and ebay stores.

There is much more, I just can't list it all here. It is just easier to state that everything is done through Vendio.

OT to Greg:

No, I don't use google ad words anymore. And it was google that actually showed me I was wasting money. Few people search for "vintage advertising" instead they are looking for a specific ad: "1905 Northern auto ad".

I am going to appear in google on the specifics anyway (fingers crossed, most of the time), so why buy the general terms that my competitors buy and no one uses. I learned a lot at a seminar done by google in Dallas.

My vendio sales started to increase in December and continue in January too. A lot is coming from Yahoo search according to the customers. I never use Yahoo to search. And, the increase image deal is not hurting either.
